  5. Add other half of onion and saute till translucent/ slightly browned. Add tomato to this and mix on medium-high flame. Stir continuously to ensure tomato does NOT releases juices and cook in it, but turns brown (5-7 minutes).
  6. After this, Malvani paste and mix. Add in the marinated chicken and stir gently. Add salt, chilli powder/ garam masala/ pepper to taste/ water depending on preferred thickness of gravy. Add 2-3 tbsp of water. Close lid and cook on low flame for 20-25 minutes. Stir occasionally..
