- {Make ready 100 gm of Moong dal.
- {Prepare 150 gm of sugar.

Instructions to make Moong Dal ka halwa:
- Clean and soak the dal for overnight.
- Grind it into a thick batter. Do not use water while grinding.
- Heat a pan and add white oil and ghee. Add cardamoms and crushed nutmeg into it.
- Add the grinded moong dal and a pinch of salt and mix well. Keep mixing and ensure that it doesn’t stick to the bottom of the pan.
- After mixing for 10-15 mins add the khowa into it and mix well.
- Prepare sugar syrup separately and add some crushed cardamom powder and saffron into it.
- Add the syrup into the moong dal mixture and mix till it dries up and has halwa consistency.
- Remove and garnish with cashews, almonds and kishmish.
