  3. Heat a pan and add white oil and ghee. Add cardamoms and crushed nutmeg into it.
  4. Add the grinded moong dal and a pinch of salt and mix well. Keep mixing and ensure that it doesn’t stick to the bottom of the pan.
  5. After mixing for 10-15 mins add the khowa into it and mix well.
  6. Prepare sugar syrup separately and add some crushed cardamom powder and saffron into it.
  7. Add the syrup into the moong dal mixture and mix till it dries up and has halwa consistency.
  8. Remove and garnish with cashews, almonds and kishmish.
